For the past 12 years, Carl Carlton has assisted many well-known musicians as a guitarist, producer, or song writer – Stephan Remmler, the Leopardefell band (Niedecken), Mother's Finest, Amanda Marshall, Jimmy Barnes, Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer, the Simple Minds, Yothu Yindi, and – of course – Peter Maffay, whose band he’s playing in for years now.

Together with Tony Carey, Anne Haigis, Alvin Lee, and Betram Engel he wrote and keeps writing songs for numerous artists, he plays and produces throughout the year.Not a single day passes by without Carl not playing a guitar or operating a mixing desk.
